From an Internet Cafe in Nairobi

Thank you all for the prayers which we have felt so much. The trip has been wonderful and 6 of our team are at the airport now headed back home. We have accomplished many things and we have felt the hand of God upon this trip. The second half of our team was scheduled to get on a train and travel to Mombasa tonight, but we have been delayed and will leave tomorrow night. Pray for safety as so many are traveling.

Also, our trip to Ambosili was wonderful. We saw all of Mt. Kilimanjaro and so many animals. Our tents were very comfortable and the visit there was wonderful. I just can't wait to post pics of our trip. We have taken many, but have not had internet long enough to do any posting.

Know we love you all and can't wait to tell you all about the children.

Love,
Beth

  1. I forgot to mention, we had the teacher's appreciation dinner last night and it went wonderful. In addition, we have had 23 new folks from Virginia join the team as well as two Austrialian friends Carla and Phil to join us on our safari as well as the MCC. It has been such a blessing to have so many who are helping at the MCC.

    Love to all,

  4. Thank you all for having the courage to go. As you 1st timers now know, it is not easy to see the poverty, dirt and dust, lack of food, water and sewer issues, etc. that these children and their families live in. Now you have experienced this and not only have the knowledge of what needs to be done but also have MCC on your hearts forever as another has commented. But you have also seen the many ways God has blessed this school, the children, the teachers, staff and Headmaster Patrick. Each of you have also been a blessing...Remember that... "If I can stop one heart from aching or cool one pain, I shall not live in vain." You have surely brought so much happiness to all while there and cooled man pains. Thank you. Judie
